Slider not on front page – using polylang
I have a new site with a fresh install, and I installed Polylang to it.
I cannot get the front page slider to show on the secondary languages front page created with polylang. The slider is only showing on the default language page.
Settings used in Customizr:
-Uses static front page
The featured/highlighted pages show fine on both. I have turned off media translations for media from Polylang.
Is this intended than not all front pages can have the slider? and if so, why are the featured still working just fine with the translated pages?

Polylang and WPAlchemy – Can anyone help me please!?
Hi there to all. I am new in this puling And I think it is excellent but difficult to start (as always with a new translation plugin)
I managed to configure it propperly, but no matter what I do or funtion I write I am unable to duplicate meta fields created with WPALCHEMY.
Can Anyone please help me to duplicate WPALCHEMY meta fields with POLYLANG please?

“Custom fields” and “Features and amenities” translations of WpResidence theme
Hi everyone.
I ask for support on the forum because I believe it is the last resource I have left and I hope here there may be someone who can help me.
Preliminary remark:
– I’ve already consulted all the Polylang documentation, without success
– I did a search on the forum and in Google, without finding solutions
– I’ve done the necessary tests on the theme and plugins, but I haven’t found any conflicts.
Moreover:
WordPress, the theme (WpResidence), Polylang and all the other plugins are been updated to the latest version.
More information:
– permalinks are set to “PostName”
– I’m using a static Home Page
– Unfortunately, the site in question (https://www.immoprimus.ch/) is not yet public.
My Polylang settings:
– Default language: italian
– Second language: german
– the option “URL modifications” is set to “The language is set from the directory name in pretty permaliks”
– the option “Hide URL language information for default language” is enabled
– the option “Remove /language/ in pretty permaliks” is selected
– the option “Home Page URL contains the language code…” is enabled
– the options “Detect browser language” and “Media” (languages and translations) are activated
– I have not selected any “custom posts” and I have selected all “custom taxonomies”
– I have selected all the synchronization options, except “Custom fields”.
I use Loco Translate to do the translations from English to Italian and German and Polylang to manage the switch of the two languages.
Everything works perfectly, except for a couple of details: the “Custom fields” of the properties descriptions and the custom “Features and amenities” don’t switch.
WpResidence, for those who don’t know it, is a premium real estate theme and allows you to create some custom descriptions that are inserted in the pages of the properties.
First of all, I tried to select the option to synchronize the “Custom Fields”, but nothing changes. I keep it unchecked because it affects negatively with the management of the slider of the home page when switching from one language to another.
So I searched in the .po file, but they aren’t written anywhere and it’s impossible to translate them with Loco Translate.
I also tried to insert them manually (without references…) and then translating them with Loco, but obviously they were not recognized by Polylang and on the site were not translated…
Then I tried to contact WpResidence support, as it was a premium theme, but unfortunately Polylang was not tested by them (they preferred WPML, as also described in their documentation) and so they couldn’t help me…
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
I think the only way would be to use string translations, but these are not detected by Polylang.
I also tried to install the Polylang Theme Strings plugin, but that didn’t help either.
I don’t know what to try anymore…
Can someone help me?

Activating Polylang in BeTheme the main menu loses the styles
It’s a new installation, so everything is up to date. I have practically made no changes to the Polylang configuration.
I tried disabling the other plugins and nothing. It seems to be a problem between Polylang and BeTheme, the main menu loses the styles. Disabling Polylang makes the main menu look good again.
On the web I have deactivated the plugin, so it’s the same if I leave a link to the exact theme that is in use.

Excellent plugin and ease of use
I evaluated a lot of plugins to organise events. But this is so far the best for my purpose. Thanks for this great work. And it’s also very easy to learn for editors, they can’t go wrong. Especially for recurring events, I know no better solution for WordPress. – The only problem is that it does not support Polylang.

Kale and Polylang
Hello!
I would like to change my theme to Kale, because I like the theme (I’m using it on my other page: www.freeyourkitchen.com)
On this site I’m using polylang and I want to keep using it since it’s easy and free. But when I change my theme into Kale it looks like Polylang is not compatible.
My question: Is it possible to use Polylang in the free version of the Kale theme?

Polylang integration
Hi there! I’m developing an Italian website (default site language is Italian). I’ve translated wc-frontend-manager, wc-multivendor-marketplace and wc-multivendor-membership *.po files from English to Italian. I’ve translated also strings translation with polylang but when a vendor switch from Italian to English, vendor dashboard still appear in italian language. (I’ve translated also store manager page with polylang) How can I fix it?

Update to YOAST SEO 9.4 makes language posts disappear
Hey guys,
just wanted to file this bug report.
I’m running a multilingual site using polylang – English and German.
Everything worked fine until I updated YOAST to 9.4, which made all English language versions of all posts disappear (“nothing found”).
Even though from the “posts” dashboard I could still see all the English post, and when I edited them, all the content was still there. Hitting “update” once again and then “view post” resulted in that empty blog post.
So nothing was deleted from the backend, just not displayed on the front end.
Posts in other languages (German) were not affected.
Luckily, I had a backup of my site and restored it, not updating yoast this time.
Can you please fix this issue as leaving yoast on the outdated version can only be a temporary solution.

Menu button doesn’t open in mobile in rtl
Hello! I just installed the Construction Landing Page. In addition I used Polylang to translate the site to Russian and Hebrew. I noticed that in mobile version, when the site is on Hebrew I cannot open the Menu button. Any help will be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Problem with payment method translation
HI,
I’m using your plugin on a multilingual website (I use Polylang) and it works well, except the Payment Method title on creating PDF Invoice through the admin order panel.
For example, if a customer complete an order with German language, then when i click on PDF invoice to generate the file from my admin order panel and my language is not German (English for example), all the invoice is in English but not the payment method title he used. It remains in the same language of the customer (German).
For precision the situation is as follows:
Payment Method: Kreditkarte / Debitkarte /Prepaid-Karte
How can i solve that?

Problems with menu links in Bilingual webpage
Hi,
I’m having problems with the menu links in my bilingual webpage.
Happens that, imagine that I start navigation in language no.2 (portuguese), after I click something it goes for the primary language (English) when I want to keep navigating on the secondary language.The website, ofcourse, starts in the primary language. I just wish and want to prevent who chooses the secundary language goes to a English page,
What I’m doing wrong? Any thought?

rtl website which has ltr language as the second language
Hello!
I’ve built my website in Persian, which is a right to left language, I’ve added style.css to the child theme to modify the style to rtl. Now I want to add English as the second language of my website, and change it to a bilingual website.
my question is that does polylang switch to ltr style automatically when the English version of the website is selected?

Google 404 Not Found because of Polylang
Hi,
i had some crawling problems (404, URL not found). The URL was working properly, but was not crawlable through Google. I deactivated all plugins step by step and realized, that Polylang is causing this problem. How can I debug this? I definitely need Polylang for my Website

Goole indexing problems
Hi, i had some crawling problems with a page and saw that Polylang caused the indexing problems (deactivated all plugins step by step). It is causing a 404 not found error on the Google Search Console and makes my website not indexable for Google. I am using the Themify Ultra theme. How can I solve this problem? I need to get this fixed fast…otherwise I need to use other multi language solutions…

Multilanguage compatibility

I’ve run into a problem on a multilingual store.
I’ve tried it on setups with both WPML and Polylang.
Maybe I’m missing something but I was not able to translate the texts customized in the customizer.
Is it at all possible?
If yes can you point me in the right direction?

Page “wont redirect correctly” in secondary language
Trying to migrate my old qTranslate site over to polylang manually. When I try to switch from my main language (english) to my secondary language(french) I just get an error saying:
The page isn’t redirecting properly
An error occurred during a connection to www.profile-accessories.com.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.
