hi Chouby,
sure, I have several backups (both files backup and database dump), the last working one is:
- WordPress 4.0
- Polylang 1.1.6 (languages set: cs_CZ, sk_SK and en_US)
I switched theme and deactivated all other plugins and manually upgraded:
- 1.1.6 -> 1.2
- 1.2 -> 1.2.1
- 1.2.1 -> 1.2.2
- 1.2.2 -> 1.2.3
- 1.2.3 -> 1.2.4
however the problem still remains:
- if I go to Pages or try to edit a post, then all Polylang controls are gone (both in Pages and in post editing form)
- if I check Settings / Languages after upgrade, then I see no languages there
- then if I add another language (e.g. Afrikaans), then all three other languages appear in Settings / Languages, but their Locale consist just of the first character (e.g. 'e' instead of 'en_US', however I can edit their Locales so that right value is set, I mean I can replace 'e' with 'en_US')
- then if I try to edit a post, then Polylang postbox displays inputs for all four languages but they are all empty (all references to post translations are lost)
- but if I delete the last added language (Afrikaans), then all other languages disappear from Settings / Languages as well as all Polylang controls within Pages or post editing form
I also tried to upgrade directly to version 1.5.4 but the result was about the same.
is it possible to execute migration process manually?
