Hey, I have the same question here! All the meta gets synced (i.e., Yoast's SEO descriptions and titles, categories, etc) without problem, but the content itself I have to copy / paste.
It helps to translate to have the original content (with formatting, links, pictures, etc). Having to manually copy the code content from one page to the other is a little annoying.
Maybe in a future release?
