We are using the Polylang plugin, and are very happy with it, but there is one little problem. I'm not sure if this is about Polylang, Avada or the combinations of those, but I hope someone (Chouby?) can give me some advice.
After weeks of hard work we've just finished our website. Our website is in two languages, and we used the 'The language is set from content' option. But as we publish many scientific articles on our website that are shown in English, both on the English version of the website as on the Dutch version of the website, the English version now all have "-2" at the end of the url. Therefore I was thinking about changing the URL options to "The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks". But when I do this, somehow the Dutch version of the website (default setting) loses many of its customizations. The menu padding, spacing between the languages flags, background color, header color, they all go back to some old setting of many weeks ago. I don't really understand why, but I hope that someone here does and can tell me if it's easy to fix this.
