WordPress updated to 4.9.8.
Plugin updated to 4.0.

Now I get this notice on every page : “Notice: register_uninstall_hook was called incorrectly. Only a static class method or function can be used in an uninstall hook. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.1.0.) in D:\Websites\iriscaretest\wp-includes\functions.php on line 4161”.

If I comment the line 90 in mw-polylang-theme-strings.php this notice desapears.

I notice that the register_uninstall_hook is modified with the last version.
Old version = register_uninstall_hook($this->Path_Get(‘plugin_file_index’), array(__CLASS__, ‘Uninstall’));
New version = register_uninstall_hook($this->Path_Get(‘plugin_file_index’), array($this, ‘Uninstall’));

Hello, I am using polylang on a wordpress site with Salient theme.
It works well except for the portfolio. I change the language on the portfolio project in English and it overwrites the Spanish version of the project as well! It only happens with the content, the title remains in the correct language…

Hi, when I add to wishlist in one of language, I can also add this product in another language. And in count of wishlist I have 2 products. If I add only in one language, I cant remove product in second language, because Polylang duplicate product instead of translate them. Are there any solutions or hooks ?

The Polylang plugin gives the employee pages a 404 error when having a bilingual site. rest of the site still functions but plugin is useless for bilugual sites.

Hi.

The “title” and “description” on the home page do not change when you change the language of the site. For the Ukrainian and russian versions of the site, the title and description remain the same (russian) when changing the language of the site. I use Polylang plugin. For articles, everything works fine.

Hello. One of the sites I manage use Polylang. It has experienced the “white screen of death” once in awhile for years. Now it is happening more often and today I managed to identify Polylang as the source of the issue. When I deactivate Polylang the issue doesn’t occur.

Everything is fully updated.

When the white screen happens there is no errors in the debug log (I’ve already tried that several times). But what made me notice that it was probably Polylang that was the source of the issue, was that the main URL redirected to the english version of the website (english is the second language on the website).

What can I do to fix this?

Hi, I have a site in English (the site language set to English). I have installed polylang + Hyyan WooCommerce Polylang Integration for translating the site to Hebrew.

Now, when I am editing a page in the English language, all works. But when trying to edit the same page in the Hebrew language the image gallery element doesn’t seem to find the images in the media library.

Hi there,

I like your plugin; it gives a nice editform. But… I have a bilingual site where my registered users need to be able to write a bio in multiple languages. WordPress supports this out of the box (when I use Polylang), but installing your plugin, I only get a single language biography field for the user.

Could this be changed?

Hi

I run a bilingual site (English and Greek) using both PolyLang and Loco Translate plugins.

I’ve changed the gateway label for the PayPal Standard gateway in Settings->Payment Gateways->Gateways which shows correctly on both the English and Greek forms.

However, the custom label does not appear in either PolyLang’s String Translation database nor (as I would expect) is it available as a string in the .po file for Loco Translate.

I’ve tried to modify a couple of the translation/label change snippets but I can’t get them to work – I’m not sure which hook to use for the payment method selector. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use 2 footer menu widgets in German and English. But only the LAST in admin saved menu data in the specific language appears in the footer, not the other language menu data.

I had this problem already 9 months ago. And it was solved after a Woocommerce update. You can find my previous thread here Footer problem. And this Woocommerce update happened also yesterday from 3.4.4 to 3.4.5. And since the update this does not work.

I hope there is someone who can help me. Thanks a lot in advance.

WordPress doc on Learnpress
We have a website (in which everything is up to date) in French and English with pages and posts translated with Polylang. There is a specific page made for our online courses, created with Learnpress. In the Learnpress settings, we configured the list of courses to be shown on this specific English page.

So we translated this English page to a French one, but the first issue is that the list of courses don’t appear in this french page.
Then, it seems impossible to translate our courses and lessons using Polylang.

Are we missing a point ? Or are these plugin not compatible ?
