Just to be on the same page, I've done all these things, and they worked fine, untill I updated to WP 4.0.1.
Do you mean I have to restart he complete process of creating my pages?

The weird thing is, the menu is translated instantly, the content only when I reload the page again. Unless I use the home-page.
