RSS feed 404

I made a mistake by posting this message twice, so a moderator closed it.
Really need some help with this problem, so I try again:

I have a site using Polylang for 3 languages. I publish my feeds with Feedburner, each language with a distinct url.
The French url works well, the Dutch and English publish the French comments.
When I try to go to http://domain.tld/?feed=rss2 I get a 404 error (not found), and a redirection to /feed/ error 404
I tried all weekend to fix the problem,and I still have no clue.
Someone to help?
And also I use Cloudflare and Category Specific RSS Menu
The template is not an issue, I tried with Twenty Sixteen and Twenty Seventeen with the same result: error 404
I also deactivate all plungins, and restored WordPress files with no results.
Thanks for any idea to fix the issue

After investigating for a while I suspect Polylang to be a suspect for following problem:

I have a site using Polylang for 3 languages. I publish my feeds with Feedburner, each language with a distinct url.

Error 404 when using Post Name Permalink on Polylang

Hello everyone,

I would like to apply the Post Name Permalink structure.

But when I apply this structure, only the homepage in French works. Internal pages can not be displayed in either English or French.

So I go through the standard URL permalink (exemple: http://mysite.fr/?page_id=1611). However this solution is absolutely not optimized for SEO, but it is the only method that makes the site work in multi-languages ​​…

Possible bug in Polylang: OR combined queries in URL do not work

I am not 100% sure if it might be a bug in Polylang and would be glad if somebody could please reproduce it:

I am using the option to redirect by browser language to either https://myurl.org/[lang1]/ or https://myurl.org/[lang2]/ on a bilingual site.

Now I need to combine tag queries in URLs with OR, which is usually simply be done like that: https://myurl.org/?tag=tag1,tag2. It seems to not work anymore when using Polylang: the result is always the same as for https://myurl.org/[lang1]/?tag=tag1.

Interestingly, combining the tags with AND, does still work properly: https://myurl.org/[lang1]/?tag=tag1+tag2.

After checking out, customers receive an ‘INTERNAL ERROR’ notice.
I have played around with disabling Plugins and Polylang seems to be causing the issue. Therefore the customers can’t download the products after checking out directly.
Could you please help me and let me know what is going on?

wp_nav_menu doesn’t get different language products

Hello,
Thanks for your plugin. I experience a problem with superfly menu. When i get to chose in which pages to be displayed, it only loads products. Not products for different languages. I contact them and they said that they get the pages with the default function wp_nav_menu. So they suggested me to contact the translation plugin developer. Could you please help me with this matter?

Customizer 3.5.11

I’m asking here first since the error specifies a file in the theme.

Warning: sprintf(): Too few arguments in /home/huayecss/public_html/wp-content/themes/customizr/inc/czr-front.php on line 6918

This happens only in Chinese. English and Spanish do not have this error. I created a test post in Chinese (via Polylang) and the error appears. If I simply change the language setting to English, it vanishes.

It happens if the post is entirely written in English, but set to “Chinese”, so it’s not the Chinese characters causing it. It does it with any author, so it’s not that. It does it with all meta info entered (alt text, title, etc.) and with all left empty. And it happens in any screen that shows the thumbnails (categories, author, news).

As we’re a business site with visitors 24/7, I’d prefer to not go through the “turn off all plug-ins” procedure if possible.

If anyone has any ideas as to the cause, I’d appreciate hearing them.

Home Page Translation using polylang

Hello,
I’m using Biznez lite and I’ve installed polylang so I can have a multilanguage website. Everything works fine except the home page and the thins that are related to biznez theme. There is no place to translate it, even on the “strings” from polylang.
I’m able to do it with other themes but not with biznez lite. Is there anything I can do?

Yoast Seo + Polylang = Error 404

Hello,
I have a problem.

My page is in 2 languages ​​(SK, HU). To select the language I use “Polylang”.
Everything worked fine, only recently began Yoast SEO Ignore languages.
For example.

Home was in the form of www. page. sk
Polylang to automatically redirect to the www. page .sk/sk/ … after the change of the Hungarian site was changed to www. page .sk/hu/
It’s the same with or Article subpages (www. page .sk/sk/contact or page.sk/hu/contact

Yoast SEO began to ignore the language and location www. page. sk/sk/ open only www. page .sk which automatically fits Error404
This happens from all pages and articles.

Can you help me how these language sections included in the Yoast? In SEO settings, the page I can only set the slug (eg. “Contact”) but not languages ​​(SK, HU).

Page about 1x per day stops working and starts to appear everywhere Error404. When I have to adjust permanent links in WordPress settings (change, I’ll just save) page boots up fine.

language switcher displays where it is not set to display

Hi there,

Ever since I’ve installed Polylang, there’s a Language switcher in the left corner of my Topbar. It’s been put there automatically by the plugin I guess, but I don’t know where to go to delete it. This language switcher displays the current language, but the switcher itself doesn’t even display correctly.

Editing settings in Appearance>menus, only adds another language switcher to my Topbar menu, the automatic one, won’t go away.

How can I fix this?

(See left top corner of image.. Language is set to English and drop-down menu icon (looks like a v) doesn’t display correctly. This switcher needs to go, I didn’t put it there 🙂

Polylang and conditional menues works only for primary language

Hi
great and simple plugin!
I have three languages on my site and want different menus on different pages and it works like a charm for the primary language, but not for my second or third 🙁
For those languages only the primary alternative will work.

I’m planning on showing the menus just for mobile devices, for computers I’m using different side bars.

Hi!
I do not translate the “Proceed to checkout” button on the checkout page.

Problems with the homepage

I am currently using Polylang, but it is bringing me problems to my homepage. If I fully type my website url, it redirects fine to the language configuration, such as :

https://www.streamhostlink.com/, redirects to – https://www.streamhostlink.com/en/

However, if I type the url without the https://, the website redirects to the /en/ version but it returns a 404 page. Anyone has any idea why this is happening?

Related to my configuration, I have the following:

– Permalinks configuration – https://www.streamhostlink.com/sample-post/
– If you are using a static front page – Yes
– Your Polylang settings –
– Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks
– The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks
– The front page url contains the language code instead of the page name or page id
– A link to your site – https://www.streamhostlink.com/

Popup with Polylang

HI,
I have a bi-lingual site using the Polylang plugin. Really like your plugin and I would like to set it to have a different popup for each language. I can’t see how to do it, since I can only set one popup to be “on” and there is no option for language settings as far as I can see. Can you help me with this?

Links to multiple categories are broken in foreign languages

Hi!

I have a problem with Polylang, links to multiple categories only works on my default language menu but not on other languages.

For example I have customs link like this:
http://www.mywebsite.com/dogs+hats
Which is returning articles who are in the category “dogs” and in category “hats”.

Note: I’m using permalinks setup with /%category%/%postname%/ but on top of that I’m using remove category url plugin (but I have the same issue even when I disable this plugin).

On dogs+hats I use + on purpose and not a comma , because I want to display articles about dogs AND hats and not dogs OR hats.

Anyway, this is works perfectly on my default language but not on foreign ones.

Whenever I use http://www.mywebsite.com/fr/chien+chapeau it gives me an error.
The same without “fr”.

The only thing that does work is http://www.mywebsite.com/?cat=254,339 where 254 is dogs category ID and 339 is hats category ID.

However, the problem is it returns every post of dog’s category and not only those of dogs AND hats category.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Please let me know.
