I have an multilingual site and use the Plugin Polylang for my translations.
Now I’d like to translate the “Load More Button Text” and the “Loading More Posts Text” for each language.
Do you have a solution for me?

I’m using the very nice Llorix One Lite theme. I want to make my site Multi langual and therefore installed the Polylang plugin. Everything works fine. Accept the FrontPage section story\about us isn’t being translated. Polylang sees the string and I have translated it, all the other FrontPage sections translate correctly, but the story\about us section isn’t being translated.
Any ideas anybody?
Excellent plugin! It helped me so much. I almost had to move site to WPML, but now I have hope that I don’t have to.
It doesn’t work on Woocommerce 3.X yet, so I downgraded to 2.6.14. But I saw that some smart people are working on it and I am hopeful that I can soon update.

After installing the Polylang at my site, everything is running well, apart from the post dates changing from the original language to English.
This is my setup: Latest version of WordPress in PT-Br (Brazilian Portuguese), theme and Loco translate plugin for the theme.
Before installing Polylang all the theme was running with all dates in Portuguese (month names, day names).
After enabling Polylang, all the translation was fine apart from the date (instead showing ‘Sábado, 23 de Janeiro de 2008’ it shows ‘Saturday, 23 de January de 2008’)
All other settings, permalinks, alternative names everything is running well.
Is this a problem related to the Loco X Polylang X Brazilian WordPress translate?
Any help will be valuable. I’m researching this for 3 days and there’s no documentation or similar cases around.

My website currently runs on two languages using the Polylang plugin and I would like to know if there are some way to make the Newsletter plugin work with the current language chosen by the user. Right now, both version point to the same URL for the form submit, so the language of the confirmation message is always in English and since it gets detected as such, the user ends up in the English version of the website, even if he wasn’t prior to the newsletter signup…

I would use with Oshine template.
Unfortunately, it conflicts with one of the plugins. Specifically with the Polylang plugin.
The page stops loading wherever I use the ultimate tag cloud widget.
For reasons of relevance, the polylang remains, but it would be good if this interaction would be corrected because I like the Ultimate Tag Cloud plugin.

we have installed Polylang and everything is working BUT the widget Polylang Language Switcher. After a lot of playing and searching around we decided to open this topic because we are unable to find how to change the url when clicking on Romana.
When you click on the Romana language it refers you to the url: http://www.cannabisclub.ro/ro/ what should be: http://www.cannabisclub.ro/ro/acasa
Here the steps when we reproduce the issue:
Go to the website on the left upper corner we want to switch from english (what works without any issues) to Romana:
This will result in the 404 error as it refers to http://www.cannabisclub.ro/ro/ instead of http://www.cannabisclub.ro/ro/acasa
When looking on the page we do see the Romana menu and pressing on Acasa(home) it will work as per below:
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated as we have no clue how to resolve this.

Hi i am using Polylang to translate my website, i also use woocommerce (all plugins are updated and also WP).
The plugin is the best simple to use and extremely good! But for some reason it dosn’t want to translate my webshops “Terms and conditions”.
I have the translation set up exactly as all other pages (where everything works perfectly) but for some reason when i’m at the checkout and click “Terms and conditions” i allays get the default “EN” page?

We have existing pages for all languages from before using Polylang, we would need to have a way to connect these existing posts under the same translationID. That way we can use the polylang widgets appropiately.
There is any way to linked an existing page/post to be a translation of other existing page/post?

I am building WP site using polylang – there will be in two languages English and Czech. I need to have a feature to display calendar and let end users to register for events. Of course the calendar and all events fields need to be in two languages.
Would that be possible with your plugin?

Hello, i don’t know if anyone is having these issues but I thought of putting it up here so that anyone who ever encountered this error can advise me on resolving it.
1. I just noticed while running P3 Profiler on my site that 49% of load time is for polylang. Is there a way to optimize polylang?
2. A document was sent to me by my system admin with around two hundred lines which contains notice like:
– access(“/home/sites_web/client/www.mysite.com/www/wp-content/languages/plugins/acf-field-date-time-picker-fr_FR.mo”, R_OK) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
– access(“/home/sites_web/client/www.mysite.com/www/wp-content/plugins/acf-field-date-time-picker/languages/acf-field-date-time-picker-fr_FR.mo”, R_OK) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
And these errors are for almost all plugins and widgets (custom or contrib)
NOTE: I just upgraded WP to version 4.7.4 from 4.4.2 and I also updated Polylang to 2.1.3 from the previous version.

Hello, I just moved from WPML to Polylang but now I can only print pdf invoices with the main language. No matter what language is used it always makes the pdf in English…

I checked with validator wpml-config.xml files and they seem to be ok. As I said problem occurs sometimes. Most of the time the there are no warnings. If there is a warning refreshing the page removes it.
I have checked wpml-config.php with var_dump($xml); on line 49. And it seems that when there is no error it reads the file without problem. $xml contains object.
WP_DEBUG is set to false.
Could you please help to understand what is the problem and how it can be solved? It is very strange that the problem does not appear constantly and can be seen only sometimes.

I’ve got a question about the returned search result.
We have a website with 2 languages. Dutch and English.
The plugin we used is Polylang.
When I’m in the Dutch part of the website and I search for a common word, I get results in both Dutch and English. The same applies to the English website.
Could you tell me if it is possible to show only Dutch search results in the Dutch part of the website, and only English search results in the English part?

I want to use the Polylang plugin but i cannot get past the first step, adding a new language. When i get to the part where the flags dropdown list should be it is just a empty field with grey background and nothing to select.
I do not understand what the issue can be, i have the latest wordpress and plugin version and my theme (Eatery) is compatible, please help if you can.

I use Polylang and Yoast SEO in my website (www.webfoodculture.com), it’s in two languages: English and Italian.
I’m trying to boost the SEO: it seems that Polylang “takes care of multilingual SEO such as html hreflang tags and opengraph tags”, but I don’t know how exactly it works and if I should change change settings.
Is there a manual or something to help me out with this?

after I updated WordPress to the version 4.7.5 and Optimizer to the version 0.5.2, Polylang doe not work anymore.
The website does not load.
I already tried to deactivated all the plugins but the issue remains.
If I want to use the website I have to deactivate Polylang but in this way all the languages (english and chinese) are display in the same page.
What can I do to fix this?

I was happy to see that version 2.2.8 brings in compatibility with Polylang, but I found out there are still some small issues to be resolved.
One thing I get in my debug.log is “Use of undefined constant ICL_LANGUAGE_CODE” on line 139 of wp-store-locator/inc/class-i18n.php.
I dig a bit in the code and this notice is caused by the fact that in WPSL_i18n::wpml_exists() you determine WPML presence by checking that function icl_register_string exists. However, this function is also defined by Polylang for compatibility with WPML-aware plugins, but various ICL_* constants are not, thus the notice.
I know it’s maybe problem on Polylang side, but since your plugin is Polylang aware already, I believe it’s an easy one for you to fix.
